Head of coffee

A former pastry chef who went on to become the 2017 French Barista Champion, Marco De Sousa Rosa is now Head of Coffee at MaxiCoffee. Together with his teams, he oversees the quality of the coffee from tree to cup and every link in the value chain: green coffee procurement, relations with producers, cooperatives, exporters and importers, processes, R&D and expertise. His department makes this expertise available to everyone in the company who needs it. This role puts him in direct contact with a market that is constantly being disrupted by climate, geopolitics and the emergence of new consumer nations.
