1. WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF THE COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE?
A. Cookies that we place on our website
When you connect to our website, we may, subject to your choices, install various Cookies on your Device that enable us to recognise your Device’s browser for the duration of the relevant Cookie’s validity period.
The Cookies that we place are used for the purposes described below, subject to your choices expressed through our cookie management tool or, where applicable, through the settings of your browser software.
Only the party that places a Cookie is able to read or modify the information contained in it.
The Cookies that we place enable us to:
- establish statistics and traffic and usage volumes relating to the various elements comprising our website (sections and content viewed, browsing paths), enabling us to improve the relevance and user-friendliness of our services;
- count the total number of advertisements displayed by us in our advertising spaces, identify such advertisements, record the respective number of times they are displayed, the number of users who clicked on each advertisement and, where applicable, the subsequent actions carried out by such users on the pages to which these advertisements lead, in order to calculate the amounts due to the various parties involved in the advertising distribution chain (communication agency, advertising network, website/media outlet) and establish statistics;
- adapt the presentation of our website to your Device’s display preferences (language used, display resolution, operating system used, etc.) when you visit our website, depending on the hardware and software used by your Device for viewing or displaying content;

- implement security measures, for example when you are asked to log in again to access content or a service after a certain period of time.
Use of Apollo.io for commercial prospecting purposes
With your consent, we may use the Apollo.io solution to identify companies that may have visited our website, analyse their browsing activity on our website and assess their potential interest in our services for commercial prospecting purposes.
As part of the system implemented on our website, Apollo uses a tracker to collect information relating to visits to our website. This tracker is only activated after you have given your consent to the corresponding purpose. If you refuse, the Apollo tracker is not activated.
Under the system currently envisaged, the information is used at company level (“Company”) and not to directly identify the individuals who have visited the website.
The data collected through this system may in particular make it possible to identify the company associated with a visit, the pages viewed and information relating to browsing activity.
For more information about the processing of data carried out by Apollo.io, you may consult its privacy policy.
B. Cookies placed on our website by third parties
Cookies may be included in the advertising spaces of our website. These advertising spaces display advertising content from Advertisers on your Device. These spaces contribute to financing the content and services that we make available to you.
The placement and use of Cookies by third parties are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We inform you of the purposes of the Cookies of which we are aware and of the means available to you to exercise your choices regarding Cookies.
Apollo.io also acts as a technology provider in connection with the system described above. The arrangements governing the processing of data by Apollo.io are set out in its own privacy documentation.
I. Through third-party applications integrated into our website
We may include on our website software applications provided by third parties that enable you to share content from our website with other people or to inform such other people of your visit to or opinion regarding content on our website. This includes, in particular, “Share” and “Like” buttons provided by social networks such as “Facebook”, “Twitter”, “LinkedIn”, “Viadeo”, etc.
The social network providing such an application button may be able to identify you through this button, even if you have not used the button while browsing our website. Indeed, this type of application button may enable the relevant social network to track your Browsing on our website simply because your account with that social network was activated on your Device (logged-in session) while you were browsing our website.
We have no control over the process used by social networks to collect information relating to your Browsing on our website and associate it with the Personal Data they hold. We invite you to consult the privacy policies of these social networks to find out about the purposes for which, in particular for advertising purposes, they may use the Browsing Information they collect through these application buttons.
These privacy policies should in particular enable you to exercise your choices with those social networks, including by configuring the settings of your accounts with each of these networks.
II. Through third-party content displayed in our advertising spaces
Advertising content (graphics, animations, videos, etc.) displayed in our advertising spaces may contain Cookies placed by third parties: either the Advertiser responsible for the relevant advertising content, or a third party acting for the Advertiser (communications consultancy agency, audience measurement company, targeted advertising provider, etc.) that has associated a Cookie with an Advertiser’s advertising content.
Where applicable, the Cookies placed by these third parties may enable them, for the duration of the validity of the Cookies, to:
- count the number of times advertising content displayed through our advertising spaces is viewed, identify the advertisements displayed in this way, and record the number of users who clicked on each advertisement, enabling them to calculate the amounts due as a result and establish statistics;
- collect Browsing Information relating to Devices accessing our website;
- recognise your Device when it subsequently browses any other website or service on which these Advertisers or third parties also place Cookies and, where applicable, adapt these third-party websites and services or the advertisements they display based on the Browsing of your Device of which they may have knowledge.
III. Through an external Advertising Network operating our advertising spaces
The advertising spaces on our website may be operated by one or more external Advertising Networks and, where applicable, may contain Cookies placed by one of them.
Where applicable, the Cookies placed by these external Advertising Networks enable them, for the duration of the validity of the Cookies, to:
- adapt the advertising content displayed on your Device through our advertising spaces based on your Device’s previous or subsequent Browsing on third-party websites on which the relevant Advertising Network also places Cookies, provided that these Cookies have been stored on your Device in accordance with the choices you have made regarding that Advertising Network;
- adapt the advertising content displayed on your Device through our advertising spaces based on location data (longitude and latitude) transmitted by your Device with your prior consent;
- adapt the advertising content displayed on your Device through our advertising spaces based on Personal Data that you may have provided to the Advertising Network.
2. YOUR CHOICES REGARDING COOKIES
Several options are available to you for managing Cookies. Any settings you may apply may affect your Browsing experience and your access to certain services that require the use of Cookies.
You may choose at any time to express or change your preferences regarding Cookies using the means described below.
a. Choices expressed through our cookie management tool
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner or cookie management module enables you to accept or refuse Cookies and other trackers that are subject to consent. You may also choose the purposes for which you accept these Cookies, where this option is available.
Your consent must be obtained before the relevant Cookies and other trackers are placed or read. In the absence of consent, trackers that are subject to consent, including the Apollo tracker described above, are not activated.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, through the mechanism made available to you on our website.
Our cookie management tool also enables us to retain the information necessary to demonstrate the choices expressed by users.
You may configure your browser software so that Cookies are stored on your Device or, conversely, so that they are rejected, either systematically or according to their issuer. You may also configure your browser software so that you are asked to accept or refuse Cookies on a case-by-case basis before a Cookie is stored on your Device.
I. CONSENT TO COOKIES
The storage of a Cookie on a Device is essentially subject to the Device user’s choice, which may be expressed and changed at any time and free of charge under the conditions described above.
If you have accepted the relevant Cookies through our cookie management tool, the Cookies incorporated into the pages and content you have viewed may be temporarily stored in a dedicated area of your Device. They may only be read by their issuer.
II. REFUSAL OF COOKIES
If you refuse the storage of Cookies on your Device, or if you delete Cookies stored on your Device, you may no longer be able to benefit from certain functionalities that are nevertheless necessary to browse certain areas of our website.
This may be the case if you attempt to access content or services that require you to identify yourself. This may also be the case where we – or our service providers – are unable to recognise, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by your Device, its language and display settings, or the country from which your Device appears to be connected to the Internet.
Where applicable, we accept no liability for consequences arising from the degraded operation of our services resulting from our inability to store or access Cookies necessary for their operation where you have refused or deleted such Cookies.
Refusing Cookies and other trackers subject to consent does not prevent access to the website or use of its essential functionalities. Refusing the Apollo tracker means, in particular, that Apollo cannot be used to identify the company associated with your visit for commercial prospecting purposes.
III. HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE NYOUR CHOICES DEPENDING ON THE BROWSER YOU USE?
Each browser has a different configuration for managing Cookies and settings. This is described in the Help menu of your browser. It explains how you can change your Cookie settings.
For Microsoft Edge
For SafariTM
For ChromeTM
For FirefoxTM
For OperaTM
These browser settings provide an additional means of managing Cookies. For Cookies and other trackers subject to consent, the choices expressed through our cookie management tool remain the preferred means of managing your preferences on our website.
Choices expressed online through industry platforms
You may visit www.youronlinechoices.com, a platform provided by digital advertising professionals brought together within the European association EDAA (European Digital Advertising Alliance) and operated in France by the Interactive Advertising Bureau France.
You will be able to identify the companies registered on this platform that offer you the possibility of refusing or accepting the Cookies used by those companies to adapt advertisements that may be displayed on your Device based on your Browsing Information: www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices.
This European platform is shared by hundreds of Internet advertising professionals and provides a centralised interface through which you can express your refusal or acceptance of Cookies that may be used to adapt advertisements displayed on your Device based on its Browsing.
Please note that this procedure will not prevent advertisements from being displayed on the websites you visit. It will only block the technologies used to adapt advertisements to your interests.
3. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF SEEING ADVERTISEMENTS ADAPTED TO YOUR BROWSING?
The purpose is to present you with advertisements that are as relevant as possible. To this end, Cookie technology makes it possible to determine in real time which advertisement should be displayed on a Device, based on its recent Browsing on one or more websites.
Your interest in the advertising content displayed on your Device when you visit a website often determines the website’s advertising resources, enabling it to operate services that are frequently provided to users free of charge.
You probably prefer to see advertisements that correspond to your interests rather than advertisements that are of no interest to you. Similarly, Advertisers wishing to have their advertisements displayed are interested in presenting their offers to users who are likely to be most interested in them.
4. SHARING THE USE OF YOUR DEVICE WITH OTHER PEOPLE
If your Device is used by several people, and where the same Device has several browser software applications, we cannot ensure with certainty that the services and advertisements intended for your Device correspond to your own use of that Device rather than that of another user of the same Device.
Where applicable, sharing the use of your Device with other people and configuring your browser settings regarding Cookies are matters of your own choice and responsibility.
5. GLOSSARY
"Cookie(s)": means a text file that may, subject to your choices, be stored in a dedicated area of your Device’s hard drive when you access an online service using your browser software.
"Browsing Information": means information relating to the connection of a Device to an electronic communications service at a given time.
This Browsing Information includes, in particular:
- the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the Device connected to the Internet;
- the date and time when a Device connects to an electronic communications service;
- the Internet address of the web page from which the Device accessing an electronic communications service originated (the “referrer”);
- the type of operating system used by the Device (Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix, BeOS, etc.);
- the language used by the browser software on the Device, the identifier and content of a Cookie stored by us on the Device.
"Personal Data": means data relating solely to you at a given time, irrespective of the Device you use.
"Device": means the hardware equipment (computer, tablet, smartphone, telephone, etc.) that you use to access or view a website, application, advertising content, etc.
"Advertiser": generally means any company or organisation that uses various communication techniques to promote its reputation, image, products or services.
"Advertising Network": means the entity or company responsible for marketing advertising spaces on behalf of one or more Publishers/Distributors: website publishers, mobile application publishers, etc.
Advertising Networks may:
- design advertising offers that generate revenue for the Publisher/Distributor and themselves, while providing greater effectiveness for the Advertiser;
- implement technological solutions and partnerships enabling them to collect information relating to the Browsing and/or location of the same Device (computer, smartphone) across one or several thousand advertising media (websites, mobile service platforms, mobile applications) for which they act as direct or indirect intermediaries.
"Publisher/Distributor": means the publishing medium hosting content (website, mobile website or mobile application) that has advertising spaces which it seeks to monetise under the best possible financial and ergonomic conditions by inserting advertising content, in order to finance its activities, including the publication of services, content or information (for example, an online press publication).
In order to promote its advertising spaces and obtain better remuneration for them, the Publisher/Distributor must be able to demonstrate an audience in order to populate its spaces with advertising content adapted to that audience.
It may use one or more Advertising Networks to monetise its spaces. Where applicable, these Advertising Networks may implement, in the advertising spaces they market to Advertisers, counting mechanisms and, where they have such capabilities, mechanisms for adapting the content they display or distribute on the Publisher/Distributor’s website.
"Targeted Advertising Provider": means a company that uses technologies – in particular Cookies and/or probability or propensity algorithms – enabling it to assist an Advertising Network, Advertiser or communications consultancy agency in determining the advertisement that appears most appropriate based on Browsing Information relating to a Device or Personal Data relating to a user, according to the information it processes or that is made available to it by one of these parties.
"Targeted Advertising": means the ability to adapt advertising content to Browsing Information or Personal Data.
"Behavioural Advertising": means advertising that consists of inferring users’ presumed interests from information relating to their Device’s Browsing on one or more services, in order to display advertisements specifically adapted to them and presumed to be of greater interest to them than other advertisements.
The implementation of this type of advertising depends, on the one hand, on the technologies used and the parties implementing them and, on the other hand, on whether or not a “tracking identifier” associated with a Device (such as a “Cookie” file) is available and whether or not such a “tracking identifier” can be shared with third parties.
"Personalised Advertising": means advertising selected based on known characteristics of the Internet user (age, gender, contact details, etc.) that the user has provided themselves, for example when registering for a service.
The implementation of this form of targeted advertising may result either from declarative information provided by a user that is insufficient to identify them (age, gender, preferences, interests), or from the processing of Personal Data.
In the latter case, it must be assessed in light of the regulations relating to the protection of Personal Data, including by informing Internet users, when they provide Personal Data relating to them, of the purposes of the processing, in particular the adaptation of advertising content that may be displayed to them.
