Fondateur et architecte

Marcelo Joulia is an architect, designer and entrepreneur. Born in Argentina and based in France since 1976, he founded the Naço agency in 1991; the name, derived from the Guarani language, means ‘intuition’. For him, gastronomy is another creative outlet: from Paris to Buenos Aires and Shanghai, he designs venues where the décor, atmosphere and cuisine form a coherent whole. This is the case with Virtus in Paris, for which he designed the interior and which was awarded a second Michelin star in 2026. He also co-founded the non-alcoholic drinks brand Tempera with chef Mauro Colagreco. A Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, he published the retrospective book Intuition in 2022.
