Originally from Paris, Thierry Marx is one of the most recognized chefs of his generation. Trained with the Companions of the Tour de France and then with Claude Deligne, Joël Robuchon, and Alain Chapel, he champions responsible and innovative cuisine that combines pleasure and well-being and sees no conflict between tradition and innovation. Very inspired by Japan, he opened his first fine dining restaurant, ONOR, in Paris in 2023, which earned a Michelin star. A strong advocate for professional training, he created Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s) in 2012, which offers 12-week free courses for people far from employment in the trades of cook, baker, or waiter.
