Chief Executive of METRO France since 2 March 2026, Cynthia Merope heads up the wholesaler serving professionals in the catering and local retail sectors. A graduate of SKEMA Business School and INSEAD, she initially worked at IBM, then at Quick Restauration, before joining METRO France in 2009 as a management controller. A member of the executive committee since October 2017, she has held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and, from 2020, Head of Client Relations and Product Offerings (Purchasing and Marketing).
