LES VIGNOBLES FONCALIEU
In the heart of the Languedoc, Les Vignobles Foncalieu brings together 619 winegrowers, united since 1967 by co-operative values and a shared ambition: to bring out the very best of their terroirs. Every day, they craft bold, authentic wines, with sustainability as their driving force.
Believing that there is strength in unity, the group has over the years brought together Celliers du Nouveau Monde in Puichéric, Vignerons de la Cité de Carcassonne and Vignerons du Pays d'Ensérune near Béziers. Each winery has contributed its own terroirs and broadened the group's palette: three AOPs, four IGPs, some thirty grape varieties and an outstanding collection of vineyard sites spanning 5,000 hectares.
From the terraces of the Aude and the south-facing hillsides of the Minervois to the stony limestone soils of Corbières-Boutenac, the red earth of Cazedarnes in Saint-Chinian and the deep soils along the Mediterranean, this mosaic of vineyards produces wines for everyday pleasure as well as fine wines, to suit every taste.
For over fifty years, women and men have brought Les Vignobles Foncalieu to life through their sensitivity and human qualities, revealing their true winegrower spirit.
