Founded in 1904, the family-owned Thiol charcuterie originally operated a shop in the town centre of Mayenne, in north-western France, in the Pays de la Loire region.
Over the generations, the company developed its expertise and expanded its business among professionals, particularly charcutiers and caterers. Renowned for the quality and distinctive taste of its products, Thiol gradually gained recognition beyond France, leading to the development of international sales.
In 2021, Thiol joined another renowned family-owned French charcuterie company: Maison Prunier, based in the Sarthe region. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to preserving and passing on traditional French charcuterie expertise, while continuing to meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
