AUVERGNE-RHÔNE-ALPES GOURMAND
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand is a regional association focused on the economic development and promotion of the agri-food sector of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, both in France and internationally.
Its purpose is to create value, quality and innovation for producers and sectors in the region, taking into account economic, environmental and societal challenges. The association also supports regional economic stakeholders in their development.
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand's main objectives are to enhance the value of products, territories, heritage, practices, expertise, trades, research and development, as well as broader innovation, and organisational performance.
Through the following missions:
- Promoting regional businesses and products to buyers (trade professionals and consumers)
- Organising meetings between producers, sectors, artisans and consumers: markets and promotional events
- Recognising and rewarding excellence in local expertise and craftsmanship
- Supporting regional businesses at trade shows
- Organising meetings between buyers and suppliers to foster regional sourcing: business meetings, catalogues
- Engaging food businesses in territorial food projects: exploring barriers and drivers to business involvement; piloting a support approach for mobilising businesses around Territorial Food Plans (PATs)
- Showcasing our products and expertise by representing the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and supporting businesses internationally
