Maître d'Hôtel Trophy
The maître d'hôtel is a precursor and we expect him to make real proposals on future trends. This competition is a real human adventure of passionate people, a meeting between actors of the profession who are as varied as they are complementary.
For this fourth edition, the 6 finalists should dazzle you through the 5 tests organised as workshops :
- Professional Culture,
- Art of Service,
- Art of Cheese Service,
- Art of Coffee Cocktails,
- Art of Food and Wine Pairing.
It is the only competition in the service industry to take place on stage in front of a large audience and a jury made up of great names in the industry.
A final of distinction: The “Maître d'Hôtel” Trophy is a real springboard for the young professionals taking part and a way of highlighting the art of service and the table.
After three first editions sponsored respectively by :
- Philippe Bourguignon, famous sommelier and François Pipala, director of the famous Paul Bocuse restaurant
- Jean-François Mesplède, director of the Michelin Guide from 2005 to 2008,
- Serge Schaal, owner and director of the two-starred restaurant "La Fourchette des Ducs".
- Carol Duval-Leroy, director of the Duval-Leroy Champagnes
